This position will work closely with experienced and respected Partners, who specialise in:
- M&A transactions,
- Equity capital markets,
- Corporate advisory
- Joint ventures,
- Commercial arrangements,
- Restructures, and
- General commercial and corporate contracts.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Have solid experience and exposure to M&A transactions as well as a strong background in Corporate Advisory / Mergers & Acquisitions with a mid-market focus preferably, through experience gained in mid to top-tier firms;
- Have solid experience with legal due diligence including drafting due diligence reports
- Experience with reviewing and drafting contracts
- Possess a willingness to have a hands-on approach as a client-focused practitioner, with great relationship-building and communication skills;
- Possess a willingness and ability to understand clientsu0027 commercial needs and objectives and provide solutions to achieve these;
- Provide sound, pragmatic and innovative legal advice to the firmu0027s corporate clients;
- Good contract drafting skills, legal analysis and problem solving skills to varied situations;
- Have excellent attention to detail, analytical skills which will be backed up by strong academics; and
- A thirst to develop as this is a role that offers genuine career development.
