We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join the Data Centre Regional Application Centre team as a Project Manager in our Melbourne office.The Project Manager will be responsible for managing small project teams using both internal and external resources to deliver One Schneider solutions to our customers. Our projects range from small to large technical services packages withhigh levels of system integration and are often on construction sites or within operating Data Centers.The Senior Project manager will manage multiple projects via the Schneider Electric Customer Project Process (CPP) and will be responsible for ensuring schedules and budgets are achieved whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Compliance with the Customer Project Process is a requirement and projects will be audited for compliance.Freedom Inspires InnovationWe trust and empower our people to work flexibly, allowing them to thrive and perform at their best.Our objective is to build teams that are motivated and enabled to perform, to make Schneider Electric a great place to work.What We Offer:

Responsibilities
- Respond to customers (internal and external) in a timely and professional
- manner at all times
- Maintain a professional relationship and ensure a customer-centric focus when completing activities
- Influence and motivate the Project teams and their processes and
- systems in alignment with Schneider Electric policies and procedures
- Facilitate communication channels and reporting to ensure that stakeholders have input to, and are kept up to date, on relevant activities and decisions
- Ensure all customer projects are implemented using the CPP
- Ensure sales handover is completed for all projects
- Ensure Projects are managed to the relevant contract
- Work with the Projects Teams to deliver high quality projects whilst maintaining or improving margins
Ideal Candidate
- Trade/Engineering/Technical based qualification in electrical or refrigeration trade and / or
- University Degree and / or Post Graduate qualification or relevant experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent OR must achieve
- certification within 12 months
- Project Management experience required preferably in the Data Centre industry.
- Background in managing projects in a relevant industry such as IT, technology, engineering or
- construction (highly desirable)
- Proven ability to engage stakeholders (up to and including senior management levels) and build positive business partnerships
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and facilitating meetings, workshops, training, and problem resolution activities
- Demonstrated experience in successfully driving and delivering (safely, on time, on budget, with high stakeholder satisfaction) a simultaneous portfolio of up to 10 projects with some projects displaying the following characteristics throughout their total project lifecycle
