Job description: To support the Content Director and Content Manager in the planning and management of all content for the AFL, Cricket Australia, and VRC Racing seasons alongside other sporting events as required.Job Description:StrategySupport to establish and grow strategies and subsequent plans that contribute to the effective operation, functionality, and capacity of the content team to deliver high quality solutions and services that exceed client expectations.Play a critical role in ensuring all content managed by MKTG is presented to the highest quality for commercial partners, sporting clubs and leagues.Planning & DeliveryAssistance in the successful end to end delivery of all club and commercial content deliverables across stadium perimeter LED, IPTV, Big Screen and TVCs for the AFL and Cricket seasons, ensuring on time, on budget, and in line with correct club and commercial entitlements.Ensure the scheduling team has complete and accurate content checklists and instructions, for them to deliver venue instructions and rundowns.Provide support throughout the year for the VRC program and during the VRC Spring Racing Carnival, to Content Director, Content Manager, and the Scheduling Team, to ensure all content deliverables are received at venue.Assist Content Manager with Clubs and Leagues pre-season information sessions, and throughout the year to plan for spec distribution, venue requirements and smooth delivery of content and understanding of content requirements.Assistance with briefing new creative work into Creative Team for any Club and Commercial deliverables, and ensuring the creative team has all assets they require.Assistance with managing financial documentation for the Content Team.Assistance with delivering projects / content in accordance with agency standards, agreed plans and operational needs.Support to drive growth in creative services to increase profitability by providing commercial insights and ongoing support in LED best practice to Clubs and their partners.GeneralWork with Content Director and Content Manager to manage all content deliveries at all venues, including compiling venue checklists, storyboarding and event sign off documents.Work with stakeholders on the development and creation of content where necessary.Checking all submitted content to ensure it has been delivered in line with commercial and venue requirementsProvide best practise feedback to stakeholders where requiredOversee Digital file management via MKTG’s Content Management Portal (MKTG Drop)Oversee the delivery of content to venue operations staffResolve issues as they arise or escalate as required. Proactively aim to foresee possible issues, and actively problem solve.Facilitate debriefs with team, contractors, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders to analyse the project success and identify opportunities for improvement.TeamEngage in all planning stages for content requirements / projects and contribute to setting timelines and project expectations.Provide team members with the required information, tools, and support to ensure team success.Follow established policies, procedures, plans, approved templates, and agency tools.Stakeholder relationshipsDevelop relationships across all business areas to effectively collaborate, plan and co-design solutions and services to ensure a seamless delivery of partnership obligations.Provide content leadership and ensure that objectives are being met.Provide regular updates to senior team and key internal stakeholders on project status, key milestones, issues, and opportunities.Process improvement and innovationEngage with team and other relevant stakeholders to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.Research new technology, creative industry innovations or improvements to support the implementation of efficient systems and continuous creative development.Location: Melbourne – 510 Church StreetBrand: Mktg SportsTime Type: Full timeContract Type: Independent Contractor
