This role is your gateway to a rewarding career in compliance, providing the tools and opportunities to grow and succeed within Westpac and the broader financial services sector.How will I help?As a Compliance Incidents Analyst, you will be responsible for performing low rated Compliance Assessments on incidents that are potentially reportable to a regulator, primarily ASIC and BCCC. These incidents are owned by Consumer Division, Business and Wealth Division (excluding BT), Customer & Corporate Services Division and Group Functions.You will play a crucial role in ensuring our adherence to various statutory and industry regulations. You will assist in the preparation of breach reports for incidents deemed reportable, ensuring that all necessary details are accurately documented and communicated. Your expertise will be vital in conducting compliance assessments across a range of regimes, including privacy, responsible lending, hardship, the Banking Code of Practice, debt collection, and prudential standards.You will work collaboratively and in support of the within the Enterprise Compliance, Compliance Incidents team to:

  • Assist with various team processes and governance activities, including peer review meetings, team reporting, and library maintenance
  • Complete Compliance Assessments
  • Assist in the preparation of breach reports
