They operate a fast paced, professional and collaborative environment to produce an extensive range of products for both Australia and international markets.About the Role:The Sales & Business Development Manager will sell the company process and whole package from NPD/formulation to manufacture/packaging to new clients across Australia, seeking contract manufacturing for their brand.
- The company is based in Sydney – however many clients are based in Melbourne, so the role can be based in Vic with regular travel to Sydney monthly, to meet site ops staff. Travel to SA, QLD also needed quarterly.
- This role is centered on sales and new business with a primary focus on client acquisition, relationship building, and meeting sales targets and KPIs. A true “hunter” role.
- Seeking a highly motivated, sales-minded professional who prioritises new business generation and client engagement.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets / KPIs
- Develop new business with existing / new client base and pass to new product development manager for project management.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitors, and new innovations.
Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or related desirable.
- Relevant BD / sales management experience in FMCG, haircare, cosmetic, skincare or related.
- Knowledge of FMCG manufacturing process and personal care product knowledge
- Demonstrated ambition to cultivate and enhance client relationships through exceptional service delivery.
- Ability to travel domestically and some overseas travel, as required
- Ability to work proficiently in Excel, MS-Office and databases MS Access
- Excellent communicator, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to multi task essential
