Job title: Business Development Executive – Retail Property

Job description: We now have an exciting opportuntiy as Business Development Executive working for one of Australias largest shopping centre groups. This role has a key focus on securing new retailers to a well-known VIC shopping centre in Melbourne.This company excel in property development, design, construction, asset management, leasing and marketing for a large network of luxury shopping centres.The ideal candidate will have proven strong communication and negotiation skills, coupled with this a proven background in driving and building new business. Previous experience in shopping centre’s is not required and all training is provided.Role specifics:
- Identify and secure retailers
- Identify revenue growth opportunities within the shopping centre
- take part in strategy meetings for tenancy mix across the portfolio
- Work closely with centre team including marketing/leasing/centre management
- Relationship management of tenants & contractors
- Tenant liaison and stakeholder management
- Liaise with project fit-out/design teams (new store projects)
Your Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a Business Development role/sales role/Account Management.
- High level of professional customer service to both internal and external parties
- strong stakeholder management skill
- New Business Development expereince
- Passion for retail or interest in the retail landscape
- Sound communication skills (verbal and written)
