I am seeking a highly skilled mid-level Business Analyst with extensive experience in wealth management or banking to join the Delivery team. Reporting directly to the Head of Delivery , this role will initially focus on the Client Portal project but may also involve other financial product initiatives. I am looking for someone with exceptional business analysis expertise, a strong understanding of financial products, and ideally experience in digital solutions.DUTIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements across financial product and digital initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of the Client Portal and other financial product streams to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria using JIRA.
  • Facilitate workshops to align stakeholders and gather input on system enhancements and features.
  • Provide critical assessments of business processes and recommend practical solutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, to ensure successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and contribute to multiple streams of work within the Delivery team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst with strong expertise in wealth management (strongly preferred) , banking , or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and operational processes.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyse complex problems and provide actionable solutions.
  • Experience with digital projects is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

DETAILS

  • Contract: 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Locations: Sydney or Melbourne
  • Salary: $130k – $145k + super, pending experience
