- Rotating roster which will include weekend work and starts from 5am or finishing as late as 11pm.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews department profit and loss statement. Develops and implements sales and merchandising plan for department.
- Schedules, develops, counsels, trains, and directs department personnel. Makes recommendations for hiring, promotion, and termination to Warehouse Manager. Reviews and approves area timecards. Drafts and participates in presentation of employee performance evaluations.
- Observes employees to ensure proper departmental production procedures and standards are followed. Checks quality and consistency of finished product.
- Determines production requirements and participates in baking product. Oversees product presentation and merchandising.
- Implements and upholds safety and security procedures. Ensures health code compliance, such as monitoring of sanitation, temperatures, pull dates.
- Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service. Coordinates proper maintenance and repairs for machinery, equipment, and implements.
- Physically does inventory approves and submits periodically (13 times per year). Approves and submits orders to buying office for equipment, product, and supplies.
