- Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
- Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
- Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
- Assisting project planning, including producing the detailed project plan.
- Assisting with contractual work including procurement and editing documents.
- Assisting the management of the change control process.
- Assisting with the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Assisting in preparing formal project progress and other reports.
- Ensuring key information and learning generated from each project is entered into internal databases.
- Ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilising FMS in order to monitor a project’s financial status.
Qualifications
- Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying, architecture or information technology.
- Understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
- Detailed working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skill.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client.
