Location: South MelbourneWe are recruiting on behalf of a well-established architecture and interior design studio based in South Melbourne, known for creating immersive, human-centered spaces across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors. With a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and contextual design, they are seeking three talented Architects to join their growing team.The Roles
Our client is looking for Architects with expertise in one or more of the following areas:Architect (Design Conceptualisation)
- Lead the development of innovative and functional design concepts.
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to align with project vision.
- Deliver exceptional design solutions across feasibility, sketch design, and design development phases.
Architect (Town Planning Expertise)
- Navigate town planning processes, including schematic design, council approvals, and VCAT.
- Ensure projects meet planning scheme requirements while maintaining strong design integrity.
- Liaise with consultants and authorities to facilitate project approvals.
Architect (Construction Documentation & Services)
- Oversee detailed construction documentation and on-site administration.
- Ensure adherence to design intent, budget, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage tender processes and liaise with contractors and consultants throughout project delivery.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Degree-qualified Architect with 5+ years of local experience.
- Proficiency in Revit (Intermediate – Advanced) is essential.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction codes, regulations, and compliance.
- Experience leading projects from inception to completion across residential and commercial sectors.
- Excellent documentation, consultant coordination, and client management skills.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
