After Master Cleanse Eating – Salads With Goddess Dressing

As I prepare my body for my next cleanse I find that salads are a good food item to fall back on. Lets face it, when you get in that lazy couch-potato mode, a salad can be fast and easy. You don’t have to know how to cook and you don’t even need to chop up veggies if you don’t feel like it. Buy the ready made salad mix, add dressing and you are good to go. Looking for a bit more substance? You can go ahead and add beans, chicken, or tuna to give your salad a more hearty bite. But don’t forget that you’re supposed to be conforming to a new life-style not falling back into your old ways.

Obviously there are tons of fixings you can add to make your dinning experience new every time and just by switching up the dressing you’ve got endless possibilities.

Here’s a easy dressing recipe that you can whip-up in no time.

Goddess Dressing


1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

3 tablespoon tahini – it’s what happens when you grind up sesame seeds

2 tablespoon cider vinegar

1/2 tablespoon tamari

1/2 lemon juice

2 cloves garlic, pressed

pinch of sea salt

1 teaspoon parsley, chopped

1 teaspoon chives, chopped

1/3 to ½ cup of purified water, use your own judgement


Take all the ingredients and put them in any jar that has a lid you can twist on tight. Shake the mixture to blind everything together and that’s it.

Pour it on your salad, dip your carrot and celery sticks in it or just drink it straight…it’s that good.

Serving: about 1 cup

This is just one of the many ways to stay in good graces with your new found well being. Whether you don’t want to cook, don’t know what to cook, or don’t know how to cook, you can do a salad. As you can see, making your own dressing can be easy and fun. It also empowers you to try more ambitious dishes. There’s something about doing a cleanse like this that has a profound affect on a person’s whole outlook and attitude. Who would have thought that doing the Master Cleanse would open up a whole new world where you of all people would voluntarily change your diet and start cooking your own foods from scratch. Wow! If this is possible who knows, maybe we can actually elect a President that can straighten out this whole mess…well I can dream can’t I?
