Position Description
Working to support the State Accountant and finance team, your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited too:
- Reconciliations
- Processing invoices on a daily basis
- Payroll for 65 employees
- Arrange payment of invoices
- Handling queries from both suppliers and customers
- Various reporting duties
- Management of debtors within payment terms
- Providing support to the finance team where required
Ideal CandidateOur client believes a positive attitude is key to success! You will also have:
- A keen willingness to hit the ground running and assist with tackling an influx of work
- Prior experience in a similar Accounts position (2+ years ideally)
- Excellent communication skills from both a written and verbal perspective
- High attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
- A passion for accounts and keen desire to complete all tasks to a high standard
- Prior experience using excel
- Experience with MYOB is essential
