Job description: Our client has a newly made role for a DevSecOps Engineer to join their growing IT Team. You will play a vital role in managing the security, development, and operational elements of our client’s digital development environment. This position demands a solid technical background paired with leadership abilities to ensure the smooth incorporation of security practices throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle.Salary: $190,000 package
Location: Melbourne CBD, Hybrid model (2 days WFH)
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding of DevOps principles and practices
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies and services
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Expertise in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with implementing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Knowledge of security best practices within DevOps environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, particularly in a cross-functional team setting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Azure Certifications (highly desirable)
