Job description: About the Role
Ventia are seeking expressions of interest for Trainee Telecommunications Technicians for Permanent positions for March / April 2025.We are looking for Trainee Telecommunication Technicians in any of the major states in Australia.As a Trainee, you will be working in a fast-paced environment across different parts of our Telecommunications division and locations throughout Melbourne while attaining a Certificate III in Telecommunications.The ideal applicants will have the ability to plan and coordinate field works and liaise with customers.The successful candidates will experience but not limited to:
- NBN customer premise installations
- NBN Network maintenance
- Fibre Optic Installations
- Voice and Data cable installation
- Telecommunications network management
About You
- Professional and polite communication
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Positive attitude and safety-first approach
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
- Be technically minded.
