Ghana Accra is an important destination in West Africa for which thousands of tourists fly to visit the country and spend their holidays. Airports in Ghana are basically classified in three categories which are civil airports open for public use, military airports and private airports not open to the public. Those airports which are of joint use, both civil and military, are considered as civil airports.

Civil airports are those which are open for public use (including joint use).
Military
Military airport, not open for public use.
Private
Private airports are those which are not open for public use.

They mounted several Forts and Castle for the tourists and are considered one of the best castles in the world.
